I need an unreliable car in my life and this could be it. I’ve always somehow liked the exterior of these. Now I realize that it looks like the grandfather to the Audi A7

It looks like what the Ford Taurus should have been, including being a liftback.

Might have a decent lemons racer here. Negotiate some parts and you would be under the 500$

Had a 1995 metallic British racing green Rover 820Si four door growing up. Essentially the interior remained the same only the exterior got softer rounded edges after 1993 I think. I loved it. Never let us down once and she was so comfortable it was like going places on your sofa. Sure it wasn’t rapid ( though the police had the 827, 2.7litre. Below is a Rover 827 and a 4.0 Range Rover from my city constabulary from back in 1993).
I’d have another tomorrow if I could.

A friend of mine used to have a Merkur Scorpio. It was a very cool, and somewhat broken car.

I found a manual Scorpio for sale a few years ago. Sadly I had just bought a car. I wanted it so bad, probably would have been a pain in the arse to own tho.
